Caroline Mascott - Vanderbilt Student with Service Background

A Newburyport, Massachusetts-based college student, Caroline Mascott attends Vanderbilt University pursuing degrees in medicine, health & society and cognitive studies. She is a member of the pre-nursing society and Pi Beta Phi Sorority, through where she performs volunteer work. She has also volunteered with an election campaign for United States Senator Ed Markey. A standout student in high school, Caroline Mascott graduated with highest distinction. She was also captain of the math and ski teams and played tennis and field hockey.

Complementing her school and volunteer work, Caroline Mascott worked as a medical assistant with the New Hampshire Orthopedic Clinic. There she assisted physicians and physician assistants with patient care, including taking vitals, reviewing medical histories, and preparing for exams and minor procedures.

Additionally, Ms. Mascott worked part-time in her summers as a senior hostess at Tuscan Sea Grill & Bar. There she took reservations, handled take-out orders and other customer requests, and trained new employees on restaurant procedures and policies.

Ms. Mascott enjoys traveling in her free time, both for service work and leisure. She enjoys experiencing different cultures and helping people, having spent time educating young girls in Kenya and Nairobi on various health issues.
